hello – Great book! thanks so much. Bit confused as to the graph on page 34 and the table on page 35. If layer 2 should be carried out 10 days after layer 1 and layer 4 20 days after layer 3 (i.e the time gap is increasing), how come the table indicates for layers to be carried out at increasing time gap intervals? What do you suggest/can you help explain this please?

    Thank you again!

    Hi sir,

Currently getting a hold of the scribble technique but I keep having self doubt about it since i will be bound to forget the information straight after completing it.. Also for my first layer I’ve been using the scribble technique for PE – do u think this is okay? Or do u recommend other techniques I should use?

    Hi,
I’ve been doing past papers and hitting As in them. However, I don’t seem to be getting any higher than 80% and this goes for all my subjects. So if i had a difficult exam i would probably get a B considering i only just about got As in past papers. :/ So I was wondering, what are you supposed to do after you’ve done a past paper and how do I make sure I get 90% and above.?
    Thanks !

  4. hi Raja I just did my c1 exam for maths and i have an E. I panicked the whole exam and hardly wrote anything on my exam paper. I feel so horrible because I feel like have been studying the whole year for nothing. I have completely lost my morale. The only way i can get an A is if i get a 100 in c2 and s1. i need your advice please i have only 4 days to c2 and i feel so down.and am capable of achieving the highest grades possible but i get so scared in the exam and panic.and end up writing nothing with sense, Please help me:(

Wait how did you know you had an E? Are you doing WJEC? The exam was hard yes, but the grade boundaries will also go down, so dont be so worried. Just prepare for the worst and hope for the best. That’s how you should go about it.

      Hi Rachel,

It’s important you don’t panic and continue executing your layers and past papers. Are you able to retake your modules next year?

  5. Hi

I’ve read your book and taking some notes on it now. Just finished A2 and I am looking to travel in September-November/December and may need to retake modules in the gap year. For the repetition time table how long should I spend on layer 1?

    hi,
i got my AS results yesterday and they were really bad.
i got Ds in biology and psychology and Us in chemistry and physics. i’m kind of stuck at what to do now.
    any points to help me?
also, how do i resit my exams?and when are the times we usually resit?
    thank you

  7. Liz's avatar Liz says:

I received my results and achieved BCCD, I was mortified as i was predicted AAAA, I immediately purchased and read your book the same day and I am excited to try the techniques and see if they can really improve my results next year. I know I am going to have to do resits to get my grades for university, but I am so worried I won’t get a second look from the universities I have chosen with the AS levels I achieved, applying for Biochemistry (AAB asking grades)! I was wondering how university reacted to your as levels in comparison to the A level grades they were asking for? And what I should do about this?

Thank you so much for your book, it’s really given me the motivation and guidance I needed, I feel you have helped me secure my decisions for the future!

      Hi Liz,

Thank you for reading our book. I was lucky that my school gave me better predicted grades than what I achieved in AS levels and with a decent reference/personal statement, I managed to secure an offer. Otherwise, I was prepared to work hard/improve my grades and take a gap year. My advice would be – give your uni application the best shot you can and execute the 3 step plan in our book. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a gap year and reapplying.

      Raja
