Hi, I have read the book and its really made me confident ahead of my a level courses which j began today. I am studying English language, English lit, history and media. I have mocks around Christmas/new year and then as exams in May/June. My question is broad but when do you think I should begin revising and going through content? Straight away?
I have read your book since AS and I felt really motivated to smash my A-levels. I am currently A2 student and I received my AS grades as BDD for Maths, Physics and Computing, respectively. Felt pretty disappointed, however, I still feel there is still some hope.. I am aiming for AAA to get to good uni I really want.
After I’ve done enough research on the internet, I convinced myself that SPACED REPETITION is the key to ace exams. You did mention in your book about repetition technique too.
Right now, I am trying to cover the entire A2 material before February Y13 mocks. I am trying my best to cover the entire A2 material so I can do well in mocks and convince my teachers that I still have some potential and get high predicted grades. In addition, I want to get the entire A2 material covered right after the mocks so I can have more time for myself to do as many repetitions as possible before the first ACTUAL exam. Forgot to mention, I also have loads of re-takes as well. The problem is..
… will I be able to cover the entire A2 material before the Y13 mocks in February? When did you manage to finish covering your A2 materials? I made “Repetition Revision Plan” and I calculated that I have 152 days left (starting from today) for all my 3 subjects.
I was able to cover approximately 7 modules (both A2 and AS) between September and January. It was a tight squeeze with some of them because of the time constraint, but having done a few power layers I was able to get away with doing 2 layers.

i have repeated year 12 and enrolled at a new sixth form (Ernist bevin college), i am currently doing BTEC level 3 triple engineering and AS Economics, I want to do mechanical engineering at a good university such as queen marry, Brunel, UCL or city university London although they want three very good A levels including maths which i do not do since my sixth form want a grade A or above and do the MEI specification ( i got a B in gcse maths), what should i do, some of my friends recommend me to study maths edexcel independently.
Maths is one of a few subjects which can be studied independently. During my A2 year, I had to miss a lot of maths lessons because I had so many retakes. I pretty much ended up teaching myself M1/C3/C4 and achieved above 90% in all of them using the guidance I’ve given in How to ACE Your A-Levels.

im hoping to achieve both A’s or A* in economics and maths even though they are hard a- levels and that i am doing BTEC triple engineering which means i have to keep pup to date with my coursework, do you think that’s possible or should i do double engineering?
